Альбом: CB1000SF English

Thanks god of motocycles, i get my babe back. Technician take very much time to repair her. New camchain and all what was near excluding camshaft and gears. All seals and washers revisiond and replaced.

As you can see, there no control panel and windshield. All of this lost after small truck kick my girl when making 180-degree turn. Sadly, i`m not been near at a time :(

This shot been made near my work.

Oil filter change

"Thanks" to previous owner installed new exhaust i need to next parts to attach new filter:
  • Remove radiator with antifreeze
  • Remove third exhaust pipe
And you can see that i do all this with front fork removed.

As you can see i removed two exhaust pipes from bike to get access to oil filter. The filter is broken by one of the pipes because it is much big for this tuned exhaust system. In stock the HF303 filter is used on this bike, but previous owner installed brand new direct-flow exhaust and i loose central stand and got this trouble with broken filters.

I installed this HF204 filter also used on CBR1000 engine, this filter have less height and i home it will work well. I understand that 204 filter must be replaced faster than 303 but i do this every year before every season.

Welcome my friend!

Hello my friend!

The first thing i must say is that i`m living in Russia, Saint-Petersburg. I`am an owner of Honda CB1000 SF (SC30) 1993. My bike come from Japan have 27000 kilometers on odometer.

I`m very glad to see you in my blog. This version is created for english language visitors. So information at this page will be added from my russian language blog at http://cb1000sf.blogspot.com/ and so information maybe outdated. Sorry.

I`am created this blog because i want to connect with other CB1000SF owners from other countries. Another reason is meeting on motoshows or exhibitions. If you travel to Russia on bike (may-be not CB1000) send me a message and i`ll try to help you to spend some fun time in Saint-Petersburg.
